Château Picoron ‘Les Terrasses’ Sainte Colombe, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux 2014, France

Château Picoron ‘Les Terrasses’ Sainte Colombe, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux 2014, France (contact the winery for further details)
Combines cedary Bordeaux restraint with richer, plummier flesh, with the red berry flavours staying just the right side of jammy, and a backbone of ripe but slightly earthy tannin to hold it all together. Good for a few years yet, but no crime to dig in now. S-

Very Interesting, I have just bought a bottle of the 2014 Chateau Picoron from my local wine shop in Chepstow. I close it at random then decided to search on the internet to find out more about it and discovered you video purely by chance.

I loved it, how terrific to hear someone talking about the wine rather than reading opinions.

It is only 9am but I am tempted to open the bottle now after hearing you but shall show some restraint!

I look forward to seeing more of your videos or should I call them blogs!

Hi Stephen, thanks for your comment, I really should do more of these videos as I have a rack full of wines in need of reviewing!
Maybe it’s that in lockdown, and in my newish role as owner of Manchester Wine School , I seem to be spending a lot of time talking into a computer, so when there’s some free time, I shy away from doing the same into a camera. Doing prep now for two online tastings this weekend, another 2 next week. And the week after etc. If you fancy joining us for one of these, all info is at manchesterwineschool.com
