La Croix de Chaintres Saumur Champigny 2015, Loire, France (£12.79 Waitrose)
Lovely fresh and crunchy young wine, gushing with blackcurrant and black cherry flavour with a lightly roasted edge, a hint of tar and even a touch of violet. Enticing, dainty and moreish, could easily take a chill on a warm day. S(-)
