Three Loire Whites (and all from different grapes)

The Society’s Exhibition Sancerre 2015 (Serge Laloue), Loire, France (£12.50 The Wine Society)
Succulent Sancerre, showing some of the flesh of a warm vintage but still with flinty citrus tension and a light floral touch too. S-

Domaine Gadais La Grande Réserve du Moulin Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie 2015, Loire, France (£9.99 Laithwaites)
Lots of grip and tang here, with a slightly salty edge to the ripe green apple flavours, and a lightly creamy finish. Needs fish. B(+)

Domaine Mourat ‘Sacré Blanc’ Chenin Blanc 2015, Val de Loire, France (£11.99 Laithwaites)
Combines a richer nuttier ripe pear and honeyed walnut edge with taut grapefruit freshness. Good but maybe a touch simple for real class. B
